Eleuthero Root – Cut & Sifted Organic Dried Herb

Eleutherococcus senticosus

Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus), commonly known as Siberian Ginseng, is a woody shrub from the Araliaceae family, native to the forests of Siberia, northeastern China, Korea, and Japan. The plant grows to 2–3 meters with thorny stems, compound leaves, and small clusters of berries. The root is a thick, woody rhizome with a brownish exterior and creamy-white interior, with a mildly sweet, slightly bitter character. Eleuthero root has a long history of use in traditional Chinese and Russian botanical preparations, and is recognized as a traditional adaptogenic botanical in both Eastern and Western herbal practice. The cut and sifted dried root is suitable for use in herbal teas, decoctions, and botanical blends. Certified Organic and Kosher.
